Fresh Pasta, Risotto & Gelato Class

In this cooking class Katie will show you how to prepare some delicious hand made pasta. We start with the best organic flour & eggs for our dough to prepare classic fresh egg pasta.
Once we have prepared our dough we will then have lots of fun rolling the dough out and watching as the dough is turned magically into wonderful Tagliatelle which we will use to prepare our Tagliatelle alla Amatricana, a famous dish from Amatrice near Rome.
Once our pasta has been rolled and shaped we will leave it to rest. Then we will prepare the perfect sauce to go with each pasta.
After that, we’ll learn to make two gelato flavours, Italian Lemon Gelato and also a delectable, Blood Orange Gelato, made using fresh seasonal Italian fruit.
Then the magical process of Cooking the perfect Saffron Risotto all Milanese will begin, toasting our rice, adding white wines, butter and delicate amounts of Chicken stock, shavings of parmesan cheese, all just in time for our lunch where we will sit down to savour our creations with some local wines and unwind. Come and immerse yourself in Italian cooking and culture. Groups will be small, so places are limited.
