We offer fun cooking classes in Katie's lovely home in the beautiful town of Como, Italy. We offer many different classes, just a few of our favourites are:
Our Cooking Classes are a fun & unique way to experience the wonderful local Italian Cuisine. Classes are hands on, in small groups, where you will learn the secrets of how to prepare wonderful Italian dishes and desserts.

Private Cooking Classes are for 2-8 people. Classes are for all ages, children especially enjoy making their own fresh Pasta or Pizza by hand & learning to make Gelato for dessert is usually a real hit with family groups. Our Cooking classes take place during the morning and last 4 hours in total.
All our Cooking Classes include a full lunch served with prosecco, selected regional wines, dessert and coffee.
What kinds of cooking classes do we offer?
We like to work directly with our clients to create a personalised menu using fresh local seasonal ingredients and traditional recipes for your class.
Here are just a few of the types of cooking classes we run:
Learn the secrets of making delicious, healthy, organic pizza. We will learn the basis of all good pizza by preparing a slowly-leavened organic dough. After that, we'll get creative with pizza toppings. We will prepare pizzas with some accompaniments and dessert. Afterwards, we will have a relaxed, sit-down lunch with local wines and dessert on the terrace.
Join us to make fresh egg pasta from scratch. Once you have tasted fresh pasta like this, you will see why it is so worth the effort! We use only fresh organic eggs, organic flour and salt to make our beautiful Tagliatelle, Lasagne, Spaghetti & Ravioli. We will prepare pasta with seasonal sauces, salad and dessert. Afterwards, we will have a relaxed, sit-down lunch with local wines and dessert on the terrace.
Katie will show you how to prepare some delicious Como specialities. We’ll begin with Crostini di Polenta, an appetiser consisting of Hand made Polenta crostini with traditionally-made cheeses and hams sourced from the region. For our main dish we will prepare, Risotto al Persico, using local Carnaroli rice, Perch fillets from lake Como, infused with white wine and broth. After that, we’ll learn to make a delectable dessert to follow it, Sorbeto di Pesca, sorbet using fresh Italian peaches, topped with cream and crushed amaretto biscuits. As with all our classes, we will have a relaxed, sit-down lunch with local wines and dessert!
It is Italy’s favorite dessert! We often combine Gelato making with our Pizza and Pasta cooking classes & Lunch, but if you are a true Gelato fan and want to spend a heavenly 2 and a half hours making and tasting Gelato then this is the class for you!
This can be run as a stand alone class without lunch to fit into your busy travel schedule.
During the Gelato class we will learn how to prepare the three classic Gelato bases of Italian Sorbetto, Fioridilatte and Custard base Gelati. Classes run from 9:30 am until 12.
We will discuss how to choose the very best ingredients for Gelato, and then prepare 4 different flavours of gelato, for example:
