Italian Gelato Workshop

If you are a true Gelato fan and want to spend a heavenly 2 and a half hours making and tasting Gelato then this is the workshop for you! This is a perfect class for all the family.
During the Gelato class we will learn how to prepare the three essential Gelato bases:
- Italian Sorbetto for making dairy free fruit gelati
- Fioridilatte is a half milk half cream base used for making Straciatella
- Egg/Custard base is for creamy heavier gelati such as Smooth Dark Chocolate
We will discuss how to choose the very best ingredients for Gelato, and then prepare 4 different flavours of gelato, for example: (book early and let us know you favourite flavours to make!)
- Dark Chocolate Gelato
- Italian Lemon Gelato
- Fresh Strawberry Gelato
- Stracciatella Gelato (Chocolate Chip)
- Sicilian Cassata Gelato
- Summer Peach & Amaretti Gelato
- Cookies & Cream Gelato
- Fig, Honey and greek Yogurt Gelato
- Strawberry Shortcake Gelato
- Hazelnut Gelato
- Pistacchio Gelato
10:00 Meet and Greet, Coffee time and chat about recipes we will use.
10:15 Aprons on time to make Gelato!
– Prepare Egg Custard base for Swiss Dark Chocolate gelato and leave to cool
– Prepare Fiordilatte base for Chocolate chip gelato and begin to churn in Gelato Machine
11:00 Time to churn the dark chocolate Gelato
– Prepare Italian Lemon Sorbetto & taste
– Prepare Strawberry Gelato & taste
12:30 End of class
