Lake Como Cuisine

Come join Katie in her beautiful home for a class in Lake Como cooking! Katie will show you how to prepare some delicious Como specialities and host a relaxed Italian-style lunch afterwards for you to enjoy them.

We’ll begin with Crostini di Polenta, an appetiser consisting of Hand made Polenta crostini with traditionally-made cheeses and hams sourced from the region. For our main dish we will prepare,  Risotto al Persico, using local Carnaroli rice, Perch fillets from lake Como, infused with white wine and broth. After that, we’ll learn to make a delectable dessert to follow it, Sorbeto di Pesca, sorbet using fresh Italian peaches, topped with cream and crushed amaretto biscuits.

Once our work is done, we’ll sit down to savour our creations with some local wines and unwind. Come and immerse yourself in Italian cooking and culture. Groups will be small, so places are limited.
