Organic Sourdough Pizza & Gelato cooking class

Learn the secrets of making Delicious Organic Sourdough Pizza & Italian Gelato.

You will learn how to make your own sourdough starter. How prepare & shape wonderful slowly leavened organic dough & get creative with pizza toppings.

We will learn the Neapolitan DOP pizzas – Marinara & Margherita, we make our sauce using the best Italian tomatoes, fresh Mozzarella and Basil. Then we will prepare Pizzas using ingredients from the local area, DOP cheeses from the wonderful region of Lombardia.  Book Now!

During the second half of the cooking class we will have fun making a few different flavours of Italian Gelato, such as Italian Strawberry Gelato & Sicilian Lemon Gelato.

We will have fun preparing some beautiful pizzas & Italian Gelato. Afterwards we will have a relaxed, sit down lunch with local wines and dessert, on the terrace, hopefully in the sunshine!

Classes cost from €55 per person according to group size. Class fee includes a full lunch with prosecco, regional wines, dessert and coffee.

Class Schedule

10:00 Meet and Greet, Coffee time and chat about recipes we will use.

10:15 Aprons on time to cook!
– Show method to prepare pizza dough by hand, everyone will have a go
– Prepare Swiss Dark Chocolate gelato together
– Prepare Italian Pear gelato together
– Discuss different types of pizza to make and how to select ingredients
– Show how to shape traditional Neapolitan pizza by hand and cook our first marinara pizza !

12:00 Prosecco time!
12:10 Shape and top pizzas (margherita, marinara, Bresaola and Rucola, Valtellina cheese with zucchini and sage)
12:30 Tutti a tavola per Pranzo
14:00 Home time for Siesta
